There could be many reasons why you would like to obtain a driving license in Cambodia. You might be a resident of Cambodia in need of a license to legally operate a vehicle, or perhaps you are an international student or worker who requires a Cambodian driving license to get around.

Types of driving licenses in Cambodia

In Cambodia, there are several types of driving licenses that you can obtain, depending on your qualifications and driving experience. The types of licenses include:

  • Class A (for motorcycles with an engine capacity of up to 125cc)
  • Class B (for motorcycles with an engine capacity above 125cc)
  • Class C (for cars with an engine capacity of up to 9 seats)
  • Class D (for commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses)

Class E and F licenses are also available for specialized vehicles and commercial transportation.

Theory Test

The theory test is a compulsory test that you must pass before you can apply for a Cambodian driving license.
